Greenquarter, Manchester

Background

Situated near Victoria train station and the MEN Arena greenquarter is Crosby Homes largest development. Consisting of over 1400 apartments, a hotel, 100,000 sq ft of offices and retail and leisure uses.

Brief

As part of a 5 way pitch Ripe were asked to create a name and brand identity along with a comprehensive marketing campaign to launch this exciting new development.

Solution

Ripe originated the name greenquarter. This was in response to the negative press that existed at the time around inner city residential developments lacking green spaces and community. The name also does justice to the scale of the development area.

Outcome

Greenquarter is Crosby Homes fastest selling development. The green concept proved so successful that as the development has been phased in the landscaping has become ever more lush adding to the rich sense of place and community that thrives at greenquarter.
