Background
A family run business, Bensons have been producing pressed fruit juices for over 6 years from their farm in the Cotswolds.
Bensons produce many varieties of fruit juice that contain no added sugar and provide a delicious healthy option in the drinks market.
Brief
Bensons asked Ripe to brand and design packaging for a new range of frozen iced pops, with the Apple and Raspberry flavour the first variety to be produced.
The design of the packaging had to stand out from the competition in an already crowded market.
Solution
The packaging was designed to stand out from other ice lollies in the market place and set Bensons aside from the additive and preservative packed products currently available.
The packaging is clean, fresh and encompasses the traditional family values Bensons hold, whilst also standing out from the wide range of products found in typical retail chest freezers.
Result
The first order for packaging was delivered in May 2007 and huge amounts of interest in the product were already being shown by retailers such as Waitrose and Nando’s restaurants.
